Iso launches the UNO-X in Thailand at the country’s annual Motor Expo in Bangkok
The launch was organized with Iso’s certified distributor EVme, a subsidiary of PTT that is committed to bring the joys and ease of electric mobility to Thailand.
After the launch in Hong Kong back in July, Iso and Giken Mobility continues the core mission of bringing high quality and sustainable mode of transportation with electric motorcycles.
Thailand
Thailand is an important market in the world of two-wheelers, with over a million registered motorcycles every year. While it is currently dominated by ICEs, electric motorcycle registrations are increasing by over 30% every year. The unique landscape of the country is the people as Thai motorcycle riders have shown great enthusiasm for EVs and the UNO-X will provide cutting-edge design cues and sporty handling for the rapidly expanding market.
UNO-X
The UNO-X features a BLDC motor with a peak power output of 15 hp, paired with a 3.2 kWh lithium-ion NMC battery mounted underneath the floorboard for an exceptionally low center-of-gravity. The lightweight front and rear aluminum swingarm stands out and reduces mass where it is most effective – unsprung weight. Design has been made to emphasize the sporty nature of the chassis with swept-up tail and bodywork.
On the technological side, the 7″ digital LCD dashboard is aimed at ease-of-use and providing the most important information to the rider at a glance – speed, remaining range, temperature, battery level, and much more. Illumination is done by LED headlights & taillights with sequential turn signals.
Iso Motorcycles
The historic Italian brand is a rebirth by Italian entrepreneur and motorcycle racing champion, Ferruccio Lamborghini. Together with Giken Mobility, the UNO-X is the first of many models from the partnership’s initiative into the electric mobility future.
